Estes Park Outfitters offers one of the most authentic backcountry experiences in all of Colorado. Located just a few miles outside legendary Estes Park, EPO operates on private acreage inside 33,000 acres of Roosevelt National Forrest. Our off-the-grid lodge utilizes solar power and spring-fed water, with the convenience of satellite TV, reliable internet, and good cellular service. Lodge guests will have uninterrupted access to a maintained public trail system for endless mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, motorcycling and hiking where you may not see another person all day. SUMMER
Colorado is one of the most visited summer-destinations in the world. Our private backcountry lodge is located just 5-miles from downtown Estes Park, and 20-minutes from the legendary Rocky Mountain National Park. Come enjoy endless hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, sight-seeing, and fresh mountain air!
FALL
Estes Park is one of the most visited towns in North America to experience the Aspen trees turning yellow. Our lodge is buried inside 33,000 acres of Roosevelt National Forrest with endless views of Aspen Groves changing color every fall. They typically begin to change color sometime in September, and it's an experience you'll never forget.
WINTER
Estes Park Outfitters lodge is extremely remote, and only accessible by Snowcat during winter months. We provide a complimentary snowcat shuttle from town to the cabin, where you'll enjoy unmatched seclusion and privacy. Snuggle by the fire and soak in endless views of the continental divide, or get out and enjoy world-class X-Country Skiing & Snow Shoeing.
HORSE HOTEL
We offer a BYOH horse hotel! Bring your own horse and explore hundreds of miles of backcountry trail systems. We know these trails better than anyone and can provide you maps through historical ruins of homesteads dating back to 1889. We provide a clean corral, feed, and water for your horses.

At this time, we book all our reservations through AirBnB. Please check our availability and book some time at our lodge. We do not offer guided trips, but can advise trail systems and must-sees throughout your stay!
