I just want to thank you for the amazing horseback ride through homestead meadows. I have lived in Colorado for about 4 years, and I have searched for this type of riding experience that entire time. I have done many tours, but this riding experience was by far the best. You were very knowledgeable, fun, and welcoming. I really appreciated riding in a small group. I have grown up with horses, so I enjoyed the freedom to actually ride. The tour of the old homesteads was very interesting, and I know I would not have been able to see them if it weren't for this ride.
 

I have already told my friends about my experience, and I plan to return for another ride this summer.  I wish you the best, and I hope your business flourishes.

A quiet place to relax! We are delighted to let all of our friends and family know about this absolutely fantastic new friend of ours, and his business "Estes Park Outfitters".  Tim Resch offers something different to do on vacation, or even if you find yourself with free time while in the Denver area on business, Chuck and I strongly suggest spending that time taking a ride with Tim.  His relaxed, welcoming personality, beautiful well trained horses, together with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, and Tim's knowledge of area history, wildlife, and hunting will captivate you just as it did us. This was definitely not the typical nose to tail type riding experience one so often encounters in touristy towns and cities. It's tough to find more beautiful places than the Colorado Rocky mountains, and even tougher to find people who are as genuinely good natured and fun to be around as Tim, put them both together, add horses and at the end of our ride, we'd not only had a truly wonderful experience, but we'd also made a really great new friend both of which we were sad to leave. My 16-year-old daughter Anna and I much enjoyed the ride to Homestead Meadows. Your horses were beautiful and well-trained. And it was a treat to ride just the three of us—sometimes chatting, sometimes silent—rather than feeling like we were on an assembly line as part of a 15- or 20-person ride elsewhere in the Estes Park area. It was definitely worth the added cost to be in a very small group.

 Seeing the remains of the homesteaders’ cabins and then reading the history booklet was fascinating. As a creature of the big-city suburbs, I keep thinking about how tough and isolated life must have been, particularly in the winters, for the families who lived there.

 You were a great guide—and the SUV ride up the mountain was memorable too!

We had a wonderful time on the Horseback History Tour. Having grown up with
horses, I was really looking for a ride that was fun for even an experienced
rider and this was it!  The scenery was spectacular, and we were just
thrilled to see the bull moose during our ride!  Visiting the old homesteads
and learning their history adds such a great and unique element to the
experience. Tim is an experienced horseman, very knowledgeable about the
area, and just an all around great guy.  We will definitely be back to see
